Katie is a trauma psychotherapist licensed in Michigan and Indiana. She has a background in trauma-informed care, neurodivergence, and catastrophic injury.
Founder of Carmel Therapy Network
In May 2023, Katie founded Carmel Therapy Network to create accessibility and bring an integrative, trauma-informed, multidisciplinary practice to Indiana. In hopes of shifting a culture of reactive care toward preventive services, Katie became passionate about recognizing the overlap of the mind and body in a multi-disciplinary approach. The digestive system is a significant part of your nervous system, making it crucial to take an integrative approach including dietetics in our client care to cover medical to behavioral health gaps.
All of our providers and our admin staff are required to have trauma-informed care training before starting with Carmel Therapy Network. We also require HIPAA training every year and require all continuing education to be up to date for our providers to ensure the quality of care is a priority. We adopt policies that benefit both our providers and our clientele.
At Carmel Therapy Network, we are honored to have the experience and privilege of working with people in such a vulnerable space. This makes the importance of safety and trauma-informed care in the therapy setting that much more important.

One-Hour Trauma Consultation: $150 per hour
Consultation is a service provided to other healthcare providers or healthcare businesses (typically therapists, but not always) for trauma-informed care or advice on related questions. It typically involves a one-hour video chat in which questions are answered based on the consultation request. For example, this may include helping other providers or organizations become more trauma-informed. Email Admin@carmeltherapy.com to learn more
